Audit Services That Cover Every Requirement

Whether you need a straightforward statutory audit or a multi-entity group engagement, we have the capacity and expertise to deliver.

Statutory Audits

Nearly all Malta companies are required to have their financial statements audited. We handle the full process from planning through to a signed audit opinion.

Holding Company Audits

Malta is home to thousands of holding structures. We understand participation exemptions, intercompany transactions and consolidation.

Group & Consolidated Audits

For groups with multiple subsidiaries, we coordinate across entities and deliver consolidated financial statements that meet all regulatory standards.

Timely Delivery

We agree on deadlines at the start and stick to them. You get your signed audit opinion when you need it — not weeks after your filing date.

How We Work Through Your Audit

A clear, four-stage process that keeps you informed and avoids last-minute surprises.

01

Planning & Risk Assessment

We study your operations, identify key risk areas and agree on a timeline. You receive a detailed audit plan before fieldwork begins.

02

Fieldwork & Testing

Our audit team works through the accounts systematically — testing balances, reviewing transactions and documenting findings.

03

Reporting & Opinion

We present findings clearly, discuss issues with management and issue a signed audit report that meets all statutory requirements.

04

Post-Audit Support

After the audit, we remain available for questions from regulators, banks or shareholders. We also flag areas for improvement.

Common Questions About Audits in Malta

Almost all companies registered in Malta are required by the Companies Act to have their annual financial statements audited by a warranted auditor. Only very small companies meeting specific criteria may qualify for an exemption.
The timeline depends on the size and complexity of your business. A straightforward single-entity audit can be completed in a few weeks. Group audits with multiple subsidiaries naturally take longer. We agree on a clear timeline during the planning stage.
The earlier the better. Ideally, reach out at least two to three months before your financial year end so we can plan the engagement and address any issues before they become urgent.
Regularly. We are experienced in responding to group audit instructions, meeting parent company reporting packages and coordinating with audit teams in other jurisdictions.
